20.08.2025Kirk Kapital has acquired a significant ownership stake in SiteCover A/S (“SiteCover”) as part of a strategic initiative to support the company’s substantial growth potential. As part of the transaction, Kirk Kapital CEO Kim Gulstad will transfer his existing 12% stake in SiteCover to a jointly owned company under Kirk Kapital. Going forward, this vehicle will hold the parties’ combined investment in SiteCover, amounting to approximately 86% of the company’s share capital.
“SiteCover offers a unique product and has in recent years experienced demand exceeding its available capacity. We look forward to supporting the company with both capital and expertise on its continued growth journey,” says Kim Gulstad, CEO of Kirk Kapital.
The selling shareholders include private investors Svend Erik Kriby and Claus Vilhelm Hansen, as well as Welfare Tech Invest.
SiteCover rents out patented, self-supporting modular shelter solutions for construction sites, providing full protection against wind and rain. The structures, which can reach heights of up to 30 metres and span entire construction sites, are equipped with integrated overhead cranes in the roof construction to handle lifting operations. This enables uninterrupted work in all weather conditions, improves the working environment, reduces construction times, and eliminates the need for drying and other winter measures.
Among SiteCover’s customers are developers such as A.P. Møller Maersk, Novo Nordisk, Dansk Erhverv, and NREP.
Founded in 2012 by Jacob Maintz and Claus Vilhelm Hansen, SiteCover will continue to be led by CEO Jacob Maintz, who remains a shareholder alongside COO Martin Svane. Maintz highlights the potential of the new partnership and takes pride in the company’s successful journey to date.
“Seeing SiteCover grow from a concept in 2012 into a successful business has been immensely rewarding. I am pleased and proud to enter this new partnership with Kirk Kapital. In the years ahead, we will work together to bring significant value to the construction process for many more customers than we have served so far,” says Jacob Maintz.
