Kirk Kapital has signed an agreement to sell its shareholding in Globeteam to Polaris. The transaction facilitates Polaris’ strategic merger of Globeteam with 7N, creating a leading Nordic IT consultancy group.
Kirk Kapital’s partnership with Globeteam began in 2017 with the acquisition of a 34% ownership stake. In 2021, Norvestor became the majority shareholder, with Kirk Kapital retaining a smaller minority ownership. During our investment, we have supported Globeteam’s expansion in terms of both its consultant base and the development of new business areas. We are proud to have been part of the company’s growth journey and confident that the merger with 7N will further accelerate its strategic development.
“We extend our sincere appreciation to the Globeteam management team, consultants and employees for their strong collaboration and dedication throughout our two ownership phases. We also thank Norvestor for being an excellent partner during the latest phase of our ownership. Finally, I would like to wish the newly combined group continued success in the years ahead.” says Kim Gulstad, CEO of Kirk Kapital.
