Kirk Kapital acquires 25% of the shares in KOMPAN

Kirk Kapital has purchased 25% of the shares in KOMPAN, the world’s leading manufacturer of outdoor playgrounds and playground equipment, from the previous owner, PFA.

In 2013, KOMPAN generated approximately DKK 1.3 billion in revenue with an operating result (EBITA) of DKK 163 million. The company continued expanding in 2014 across European, Asian, and North American markets.

The Dyvig family maintains majority ownership at 59%, with remaining shares held by CEO Connie Astrup-Larsen, Supply Chain Manager Jesper Egelykke Jensen, and other senior employees.
